Action Exec

If you would like to become a member of the Action Exec then here are some easy steps!

First check out our Meet the exec page to decide which role you would be interested in taking on. Whether its running Action's publicity, organising our events and socials or becoming a treasurer there are plenty of roles to take on!

Once you have an idea of the role you would like simply send an email to our president saying what position you are interested in.

Exec Positions Open:
President - You will be in responsible for chairing the weekly exec meetings and work with LUU staff to keep Action running smoothly.
Secretary - POSITION FILLED
Treasurer - POSITION FILLED
Publicity and Website Coordinator - You will work with the other publicity coordinator to publicise our projects and events. You will also be expected to keep the website up to date as well as giving training to project coordinators and support for users on how to use the website.
Publicity Coordinator and Graphic Designer - POSITION FILLED
Project support Coordinator Exec Position - POSITIONS FILLED
Training Coordinator - You will be responsible for arranging the training for all our project coordinators. This will mostly involve booking training such as arranging for first aid trainers to come and hold sessions with our volunteeers. You will also be expected to run weekly induction session to train new volunteers on our child protection policies and other aspects. You will need to be very organised and have good people skills but don't worry - you will be given full training on how to run inductions and plan training sessions.
Events Coordinator (1 position available) - You will work in a pair to organise socials, fundraisers and other events for Action and our individual projects. You will have access to support from the Exec, specifically the publicity team, to hold your events. Previously the Events coordinators have put on auctions, Battle of the Bands and a volunteering ceilli.
