Action inductions: Child Protection Training

7th February 2012 (5:00-8:00 pm)

This is a compulsary training session for any volunteers who want to work with children or young people. You don't need to have completed your CRB check to attend!

The session will train you in the basics of child protection: What is it? What are my responsibilites? How can I identify signs of at risk children? At the end you will have a better understanding of child protection and will receive a certificate from the Leeds Safeguarding Children Board.

This will be held in Parkinson SR (B.11) 5-8pm

Go up the Parkinson steps, enter Parkinson Court, take the stairs at the far right end of Parkinson Court down to the basement, follow the corridor round to the left, room B.11 is on the left.

If this event is booked up, please don't sign up as a reserve. We will be holding more sessions very regularly so keep checking the website and the sessions will run througout the year.
