Volunteer opportunity: Leeds Xpress Triathlon

If you’re still in Leeds this summer and are interested in sports then this opportunity may interest you (organsied by Xtra Mile Events):
Volunteers needed for the Leeds Xpress Triathlon and the Leeds Triathlon!
We are looking for volunteers to help out at two of our triathlons in Leeds, you can help at either one of the events or both!
Volunteers would be needed:
Leeds Xpress Triathlon on the 1st of August: 7.00am-11.30/12pm (at the latest)
Leeds Triathlon on the 12th September: 7.00am-12pm (at the latest).
You would be required to marshal along either the bike or run route. On the bike route you would be a vital part of the course, ensuring cyclists make it around the course safely, monitoring junctions and offering encouragement to the athletes! On the run route you would be a main form of support, making sure that the athletes get around the course safely and again offering encouragement.
In return for your help, we supply food and drink, a race t-shirt, an enjoyable day out at one of the most exciting sporting events in the region and the chance to learn more about the Sports Events Industry.
