Hawksworth Project's October activities cancelled
Posted under Hawksworth Project by Ben Fisher on Monday 25th October 2010 (5:53am)
I’m extremely sorry to announce that the Hawksworth project’s activities this October have been cancelled. We received an email from the partner we’ve been working with to put these sessions on saying that due to a lack of uptake by the young people in the area that there would not be enough participants to make the sessions work. In the past Hawksworth Project’s activities has been extremely popular and so we are trying to find out why this hasn’t been the case this time. We’ve spent the last couple of days trying to find other opportunities to offer in place of this but have unfortunately been unsuccessful. Once again I’m really sorry, everyone was really looking forward to getting Action’s first project of the year up and running. We are planning to continue the project in February and April however, and we are determined to make them even bigger and better with a very high turnout! Our other projects will be going out very soon, so keep your eyes on the website & newsletter for updates. If you want to discuss anything about this please feel free to email president@leedsaction.co.uk and I’ll be happy to answer any questions and listen to any feedback you have.
