Criminal Record Checks are changing

Hi all,

I hope you have had lovely Easters and are excited to get volunteering again! For those of you who are activated keep checking the site to sign up to our events! There are plenty of Green Streets projects coming up too.

If you are waiting for your CRB to get back then please feel free to contact the V&C office (iwanttovolunteer@luu.leeds.ac.uk).

For those of you who are new to Action and haven’t collected your CRB check forms yet, there have been some changes in how these are processed. New forms will be arriving from 26th April and we will contact everyone to let them know when they arrive. Unfortunately the company will not process the forms till July. So option A is come and fill in the new forms but be prepared for a long wait, or option B wait till September to complete them. The good news is that once the company has started processing forms they have told us it should only take seven days. There is the silver lining!
